What is a 1099 position, and how does it differ from traditional employment?

A 1099 position with The Greathouse Group signifies an independent contractor arrangement, affording individuals autonomy and flexibility in their work. Unlike traditional employment models, 1099 workers are responsible for managing their taxes, health insurance, and retirement plans. However, they also enjoy the freedom to set their schedules and pursue diverse professional opportunities tailored to their skills and aspirations, including both phone and non-phone projects.

Why are you asking for my address if this is for remote opportunities?

We understand the question, and it's a valid concern. However, we require your address for verification purposes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Specifically, we need to verify that you are located in one of our participating servicing states, which is necessary to proceed with the onboarding process.

What services does your call center provide?

At The Greathouse Group, we provide a range of virtual call center services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our offerings include handling inbound and outbound customer support, sales, and assistance across various industries. Additionally, we offer non-phone opportunities such as chat projects, providing our partners with a variety of avenues to utilize their skills and expertise effectively.

What are the payment terms for agents?

Our agents receive bi-weekly payments on the 1st and 15th of each month, ensuring timely compensation for their valuable contributions. There is no upfront fee to partner with us. Instead, the fee structure applies once agents begin servicing clients and receiving pay.

How long before I start working and receive my first paycheck deposit?

The admissions process typically takes 2-3 days when all of the requested information is complete and satisfactory. Please be on the lookout for emails containing your next steps. Once you complete the admissions process and join The Greathouse Group team you then choose a client certification course. Realistically, it may be around 30 days or less before the class starts. Classes are typically around 30 days, but some are as little as 3 days. Once certified you can start working immediately. Depending on how quickly you choose a class, it can take 1 to 2 months to receive your first deposit.

Because you are self-employed, you are in control on when and how much you work. Choose a client that has a contract that meets your needs weather it is days, nights, weekends or 24/7.

What is the Arise platform, and how does it relate to your call center?

Through our partnership with Arise Virtual Solutions, we offer a diverse array of client programs, including both phone and chat projects. This collaboration allows us to provide our partners with flexible and rewarding virtual opportunities across various communication channels.
